Standard Warranty Coverage

All of our products come with a standard manufacturer's warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period from the date of purchase. The warranty period and coverage details are specified below for each product.

Claiming Warranty

Please note that the warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, modifications, or normal wear and tear.

CARBO Warranty

A comprehensive 5-years warranty is offered on the Carbon fibre Frame, and a 2-years limited warranty against failure or manufacturing defects on electrical components. The battery and battery charger are covered for one year. The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear components (tyres, brake pads, chain etc...) or malfunction caused by misuse or improper maintenance. Labour and any freight charges are excluded from warranty.


HONBIKE Warranty

Consumer Law

My E Ride HONBIKE Uni4 includes up to two (2) years warranty. To make a claim under warranty, you will need to provide a valid proof/date of purchase of HONBIKE Uni4 and is valid only to the original purchaser. For details on warranty coverage and claims, please see below.

HONBIKE products have been developed and designed for commuting/leisure usage and/or simple riding in fair weather, at safe speeds and relevant travel in an urban or suburban environment and in accordance with HONBIKE's guidelines, including but not limited to information in HONBIKE's technical specifications and Owner's Manual.

End User Responsibility

The end user must accept and follow the guidelines and recommendations published by HONBIKE, including but not limited to information contained in technical specifications and Owner's manual.

Obtaining Repair Services for a Fault

Before providing a repair service, HONBIKE or its authorised distributor or reseller will require you to provide proof of purchase details and may ask you to respond to questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential issues. HONBIKE or its authorised distributor or reseller will provide instructions for the procedures for obtaining service.

You must submit any claim arising from a faulty product within two (2) months of its discovery.

You should make available when requested, proof of purchase, the HONBIKE frame number and/or order number and a description of the problem. On satisfactory receipt of the requirements, My E Ride will work with you in an attempt to diagnose and resolve the issue.

If after seeking support from My E Ride, your HONBIKE Uni4 is still not functioning correctly, My E Ride will determine whether your HONBIKE product requires service/replacement and how My E Ride will provide this service/remedy the issue.

Claims for the following will not be valid:

  1. Consumable parts where service life will vary widely depending on usage. These include batteries, tyres, inner tubes, brake pads, brake cables/hoses, brake fluid, pedals, belt and drive components and handlebar grips. Your warranty will not cover these products unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
  2. Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches and dents. Damage caused by use with another product.
  3. Damage caused by accident, abuse, neglect, liquid contact, fire, earthquake, flood, Force majeure or external cause.
  4. Any damage, failure or loss caused by misuse or operating the HONBIKE product outside HONBIKE's published guidelines.
  5. Damage caused by service by anyone who is not a representative of My E Ride or a My E Ride Service Provider.
  6. A HONBIKE product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of My E Ride.
  7. Defects caused by normal wear and tear including corrosion, rust, hairline cracks in paint, chips in paint, water damage, the results of fatigue. Fatigue damage is a symptom of the frame or component being worn through normal use. It is the owner's responsibility to inspect his/her HONBIKE in accordance with responsible practice and the published
  8. recommendations outlined in the HONBIKE Owner's Manual. Any HONBIKE if the frame number has been removed or defaced from the HONBIKE product.

Service Options

My E Ride provides service through its network of HONBIKE distributors, resellers and on occasion directly rectifies issues where a distributor or reseller is not available. In the event that you require service or repair of a HONBIKE product, please contact My E Ride. Depending on the complexity of service required, a distributor / reseller may elect to send your HONBIKE product to a HONBIKE Service Centre location. Upon completion of the service of your HONBIKE product, you will be notified, at which time you may collect the product as soon as is feasible or arrange for alternative  collection / delivery options.

If you elect to repair a defective product yourself, use the services of a non-approved service agent, or if you use a replacement part not supplied by My E Ride, My E Ride will not be liable for any damage, failure, repair costs or loss caused by the use of such unauthorised service or parts.

My E Ride will have the option to repair or replace (with new or reconditioned parts of the same or similar specification), at no charge. My E Ride may elect to simultaneously replace non-defective parts that are part of a sub-assembly that contains the defective component. Any replaced components, parts or accessories will become the property of My E Ride. In the event My E Ride elects to replace a defective frame, a new frame of equal or greater value will be provided. The new frame may not be the exact model purchased.


Urtopia Warranty

Urtopia 2-Years Limited Warranty

All Urtopia bikes are covered under our 2-years Limited Warranty for the owner against all manufacturing defects.

Period and Terms

The warranty would be registered automatically when the initial purchase has been made. In addition, the warranty is under the INITIAL PURCHASER and the 2-year warranty will be started once you receive the e-bike. As for the warranty transfer, the e-bike transferee can only enjoy the warranty when the following two conditions are met at the same time:

  • The 2-years package hasn't expired since the initial owner has received it.
  • You have the initial purchaser's name & the initial order number.

Covered Parts

My E Ride will replace any part that is deemed to be defective or damaged without user error. The warranty covers the listed parts and follows the terms below:


Urtopia e-bike’s frame is covered by a replacement warranty for 2 years. This warranty includes a replacement frame only. Frame styles and/or colours not in stock may be replaced with a compatible style and/or colour at the discretion of My E Ride.


Urtopia batteries are covered by a replacement warranty for 1 year. A defective battery will be replaced at no cost to the customer. The warranty period for a replaced battery is automatically extended by six months based on the original purchase date. Batteries must be assessed and found defective directly by My E Ride only.

Not Covered by Limited Warranty

  1. Ordinary wear and tear not resulting from defects in workmanship or materials. Wear and tear must be assessed by My E Ride. Parts typically not covered include:
    - Brake system
    - Spokes
    - Tires
  2. Labor charges for part replacement.
  3. Defects or damage resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the product), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.
  4. Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage not caused by My E Ride.
  5. Product that has the serial number or the bar code removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible.
  6. Defects or damage to the products caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by My E Ride with the product.
  7. Defects or damage caused by improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment in a manner that varies from Urtopia’s assembly instructions & user manuals.
  8. Defects or damage resulting from external causes, such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuse, or improper use of any electrical source.
  9. All freight costs.

Claims Process

Warranty Claims

  • If you believe there's something wrong with your e-bike or any parts of it, please contact info@myeride.com.au for warranty claims. Proof of purchase and photos/videos of the damaged product are required with a warranty claim and will be inspected by My E Ride technicians.
  • My E Ride will not be liable for costs, damages or repairs incurred because of e-bike parts purchased from an unauthorized dealer.


E Scooter Warranty

Purchase the E Scooter from My E Ride or its authorized dealer. Operate according to the instructions set in this manual and have it serviced every twelve (12) months by My E Ride, or its authorised representative at the owner’s expense. Then My E Ride guarantee to rectify any quality problems concerning its manufacturing or materials within the guarantee period.


All My E Ride E Scooters are guaranteed for twelve months from the date of purchase. The manufacturer will repair or replace at their option to the original purchaser, free of charge, any part or electronic component found upon examination by an authorized dealer to be defective in material and/or workmanship.

The warranty will also cover all the structural frame components, including fork, platform and frame.

Warranty service can be performed by My E Ride or its authorized dealer. Do not return faulty parts to manufacturer without prior consent. All transportation costs and shipping damage incurred for repair or replacement of the faulty parts are the responsibility of the original purchaser.

Exclusions are noted below.


  • ABS plastic shrouds and covers (wear and tear items are not warranted)
  • Batteries (the battery manufacturer provides a twelve-month limited warranty).
  • Battery chargers are covered by a twelve-month limited warranty.
  • Tyres and tubes (wear and tear items are not warranted).
  • In the event of an increase in the operational noise level, the warranty does not apply as this is usually occurs as a result abusive and excessive strain on the scooter.
  • Brake pads/Brake wear are a fair wear and tear item and not warranted.
  • Repairs and/or modifications made to any part of the scooter without prior consent from the manufacturer.
  • Circumstances beyond the control of the manufacturer.
  • Damaged caused by abuse, misuse, accident, or negligence, improper operation, lack of maintenance, or commercial use.
  • Labour, service calls, shipping, and other charges incurred for repair of the products.


  1. Do not operate according to the manual.
  2. Do not get maintenance from the specified dealers
  3. Do not use the components or parts made by our corporation.
  4. Modify the unit or its part without authorization.
  5. The warranty has expired.
  6. Incidents caused by uncontrollable factors such as typhoon, floods, fire, water damage, rust, earthquake, or war.
